Salomé Bourny graduated from ÉCAL (Switzerland) with a MAS Luxe's degree in 2012 after studying product and eyewear design for four years. She moved to London where she worked for international designers Micheal Anastassaides, Bill Skinner and eyewear company Fabris Lane LTD.
These various experiences made her reconsider the Objects as a vector of links between people. It is therefore natural for her to explore, through human encounters, multiple crafts, cultures and technologies in order to translate each of their unique features into various typologies of narrative products. It is a privileged position from which she aims to question the boundaries between industry and craft and the way they define objets.
She launched her studio in 2016 while collaborating with the established Frenchdesign brand ibride.
She lives and works in France.
